St Malieu Hall

2 Double, 2 Twin Bedrooms

The house is on two levels with a galleried balcony landing overlooking an open plan living and dining room, with floor to ceiling height windows revealing spectacular views of Loch Fyne and Cowal. St Malieu Hall comfortably accommodates up to eight guests thanks to its generous room sizes, with two double and two twin bedrooms as well as spacious public rooms.

A secluded patio area lies to the rear of the property, with barbecue and seating for eight people. From here, steps lead to a safely enclosed garden and off-road parking, and give access to a footpath to Inveraray (a few minutes’ walk) with its shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions. including its famous Castle, Jail and Bell Tower. For that extra bit of indulgence the Sauna, Spa and Swimming Pool are only few minutes’ walk from the house.

The Accommodation

Living/Dining Room

This large open plan area affords magnificent loch views from the large windows. Here you can relax on comfortable settees, read the paper at the round dining table or chat with your friends as you prepare food in the adjoining fully fitted kitchen – all whilst listening to some carefully selected Scottish music.

A selection of books, CDs and DVDs are available for your enjoyment, and there are numerous instruction manuals, maps and a guide book for information.

There is a large wide screen TV with surround sound and St Malieu has fibre broadband for all computing needs.

Kitchen

You will find a wide range of cooking and serving utensils and dishes in this large fitted luxury kitchen and there is plenty of storage space for your own food supplies. Cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher are all built-in

Hall

There is generous hanging space for coats in the front hall. The stairs in the back hallway lead to the gallery and upper bedrooms, whilst downstairs there is an airing cupboard off the hall.

Bathroom

There are three beautiful modern fitted bathrooms, all with large baths and showers; heated floors; heated towel rails, and shaver sockets.

Garden Patio

There is a landscaped patio area to the rear of the house, with eight chairs, table and parasol. A shed has storage for your bicycles, and you will also find a barbecue, clothes drier and sun-lounger here.

Car Park

This enclosed area at the rear of the house provides ample parking for four cars and are reached via a lane to the rear of the property. The back garden and rear entrance to the house is reached via a set of 6 wide steps with a sturdy hand rail leading down from the car park.

Here you will find two wheelie bins for the disposal of household rubbish and recycle-able paper and cardboard (no need to worry about putting them out as arrangements are in place for their weekly removal!)

Bedrooms

St Malieu can accommodate up to eight people. Each bedroom is furnished to a high standard, with colour co-ordinated linen and towels; each of the rooms with its own style.

The two large master bedrooms upstairs have modern en-suite bathrooms with large baths and showers. The two beautiful twin rooms downstairs share a spacious third bathroom with separate bath & shower units which are suitable for certain levels of disability.

All the beds have high standard orthopaedic mattresses, and duvets which can be changed according to personal preference: summer weight; medium weight; or winter weight (summer + medium fit together). A cot is also available for which personal bedding is required.
